FUND-RAISING will start in the New Year in Keighley to support victims of the Taliban attack on a school in Pakistan.
Bradford councillor Khadim Hussain hopes to bring businesses and residents together to raise a “sizeable amount” for survivors and families affected by the atrocity.
Cllr Hussain (pictured), a former Lord Mayor of Bradford, hoped Keighley’s response would build on the united front condemning the incident.
Cllr Hussain (pictured) said: “I may get in touch with the Consul General of Pakistan to see where there is the most need.”
