POLICE are investigating the tragic death of a three-month-old baby girl.
The death, only three days before Christmas, is unexplained but is not suspicious.
Police were alerted by the ambulance service shortly after 3.30pm on Monday after paramedics attended an address in Great Horton, Bradford, to a report of a child in cardiac arrest.
The baby was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary but died shortly after arrival.
Detective Chief Inspector Mark McManus, of West Yorkshire Police’s Protective Services (Crime) department, said yesterday: ‘‘At this stage the death is not being treated as suspicious and a post mortem will now take place to determine the cause of death.’’
