BRADFORD West MP George Galloway is the biggest tweeter in Parliament, new figures show.
The Respect MP (pictured) sent more than 23,000 tweets in 2014, according to Yatterbox, which monitors social media use.
Assuming Mr Galloway sleeps six hours a night, it means he tweets about 3.5 times an hour.
Yatterbox’s Head of Product Ben Carson yesterday said: “George Galloway may be Respect’s sole MP, yet Today’s figures highlight how prolific Mr Galloway is on Twitter.
This is reflected by his huge following, more than 228,000 followers.
“This year has been an interesting year to review. We now have More MPs than ever are now on Twitter – around two-thirds in the House of Commons. I will be looking to see in the coming months whether MPs become more active online as they prepare to fight the General Election.”
