CUSTOMERS enjoyed a festive treat at the Bradford branch of Skipton Building Society.
To ensure their clients were in the Christmas spirit, the team on Market Street dished out mince pies and a tipple of sherry to help ward off the cold.
Some staff also joined in National Christmas Jumper Day, wearing their finest festive woollen garments to raise money for Save The Children.
Bradford branch manager Aidan Walker said: “Everyone loves a glass of sherry and a mince pie at this time of year, so we decided it would be a great way for people to drop in and get in the festive mood.
“With many people’s finances often stretched at this time of year, we also wanted to be on hand to field any questionsthey may have on savings and investments.”
The society has recently begun offering a new Loyalty Regular Saver account, open to anyone in Bradford who has been a member since before January 26 this year.
The account is available in branch, through the post, online, and via Skipton Direct, the Society’s Skipton-based customer contact centre.
