PEOPLE have a month to have their say on how people remember their loved ones in the countryside sites, woodlands and parks managed by Bradford Council.
The local authority’s practice is to accommodates most requests for a bench or tree to be put in places special to someone who has died.
“In some places, however, especially the more natural countryside sites, people have told us that they find too many memorials intrusive and that they detract from the setting,” a spokesman said.
“People also need clarity about if, or for how long, their authorised memorial will be maintained and what the cost will be.”
Residents can have their say, through the Council’s website, until Friday, January 23.
