A DELIVERY driver who helped set up a £22,500 cannabis farm was arrested after leaving a tell-tale fingerprint on a heating bulb.

Kaiser Ahmed, 23, of Thornbury Crescent, Thornbury, Bradford, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the production of the Class B drug.

Bradford Crown Court heard yesterday that police raided a house in Wood Hall Road, Thornbury, on January 20. The upstairs windows were blacked out and 67 cannabis plants were drying out on racks. A further 52 small plants and growing equipment were also seized.

Ahmed was linked to the cannabis farm by five sets of fingerprints. He at first denied any involvement but then admitted assisting to set up the farm.

He was sentenced to a community order with 120 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £200 towards the prosecution costs.
