DOG walkers in Lund Park, Keighley, are being urged to promote a campaign to reduce dog mess.
Residents can sign up to the Green Dog Walkers Scheme, which aims to change behaviour and attitudes towards dog fouling.
The scheme was launched this month in Lund Park, but organisers want to extend it to other parts of Keighley.
Community development worker Jo Horrox said the scheme had been adopted by Bradford Council.
She said: “It is about changing attitudes and behaviour to dog fouling in a friendly non-confrontational way. “Dog owners are encouraged to sign a pledge to say they will not only pick up after their dogs but carry extra bags offering them to people who don’t have one.
Jo can be contacted by emailing jo@kivca.org.uk or calling 01535 665258.
People wanting a pledge form should call 01535618008.
