HEALTH chiefs are reminding people to ensure they stock-up on medicines this winter.
NHS Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) said patients should be prepared in case of extreme weather.
Dr Phil Pue, chief clinical officer for the CCG, said: “If patients are taking regular medicines, ensuring they have enough stocks to last by getting organised with their repeat prescriptions is essential.
“Being prepared could prevent them becoming ill or avert a medical emergency.”
