POLICE in Bradford have visited a centre for deaf people as part of the West Yorkshire force’s commitment to improve its links with that community.
PC Jo Armstrong and PCSO colleague Josh Wilson attended Prism, a youth centre that provides a meeting place for deaf people.
The officers took along police uniform and had played football session with the youngsters.
They will be involved in a project called FUTSAL, which is funded by Police and Crime Commissioner Mark Burns-Williamson and is designed to support improved integration between the deaf community and police in Bradford.
