Travel chaos as flooding blocks Shipley and Skipton train lines
FLOODING between Keighley and Crossflatts caused delays and train cancellations on the Airedale line this morning.
Safety checks are currently being carried out between Shipley and Skipton by Network Rail engineers.
Train services resumed at around 8.40am, with speed restrictions, but services remained delayed.
A spokesman for Northern Rail said inspectors were on-site assessing whether there was any damage to the track.
NEW: Due to safety checks being made between Shipley and Skipton all lines are blocked.
