BRADFORD dog owners who feel their pooch isn’t looking festive enough can take them for a free festive makeover at a pet food store.

Healthy Option Pet Food Store in Spencer Road, Lidget Green, is running its annual Santa Paws event that sees dogs get dressed in festive gear before having their photo taken in Santa’s sleigh for free.

The event is running every day, but the store expects Saturday to be the biggest day yet.

Owner Carl Richardson said: “Christmas time is the most magical time of the year. So why should that be any different for our pets? We invite the local community to bring their dogs into our store, where their pooches will be treated to a Christmas photo shoot.”
