A BRADFORD-born soldier has rubbed shoulders with David Beckham at a national military awards ceremony.
Staff Sergeant Tracy Cole, 43, bed manager at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre at Headley Court, Epsom, Surrey, appeared at the ceremony, also known as The Millies, which recognise the excellence and sacrifice made by Britain’s Armed Forces and ten awards will be presented tonight.
Sgt Cole completed tours in Afghanistan working as a health care assistant and joined the Army when she was 17. The Millies will be shown on ITV tonight from 8.30pm.
