BRITISH Transport Police is asking for witnesses after a man was assaulted and knocked unconscious while waiting for a train at Leeds railway station travelling to three Bradford district stations.
The incident took place on Saturday, November 1, at around 7.45pm. The victim, 24, from Middlesbrough, was on platform 15 with two friends when he was approached from behind by a man who punched in the face and knocked unconscious.
The attacker ran off and boarded a train to Manchester Victoria, which called at Bramley, New Pudsey and Bradford Interchange. He may live in one of those areas. Contact BT Police on 0800 40 50 40.
