Santa Claus pictured during the Christmas lights switch-on
ABOUT 200 people attended the switch-on of Christmas lights in Steeton and Eastburn.
The neighbouring villages held a joint ceremony including carol singing.
The lights were organised and funded by the Steeton and Eastburn Community Christmas Lights group with sponsorship from local people and businesses.
The lights were switched on by the joint winners of a paint-a-bauble competition, eight-year-old Riley Sayer in Eastburn and Sahara Burrows in Steeton.
The Goat’s Head in Steeton hosted a Christmas disco.
