A SENIOR Morrisons employee has made his first appearance at Bradford Crown Court accused of fraudulently disclosing payroll data.
Andrew Skelton faces a ten day trial on July 13 on three charges under the Computer Misuse Act, the Data Protection Act, and the Fraud Act. Skelton, 43, of Water Street, Liverpool, was committed to the Crown Court by Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court earlier this month.
He is alleged to have distributed sensitive information relating to thousands of members of staff without permission while employed as a senior internal auditor at the Morrisons head office at Hilmore House, Gain Lane, Thornbury.
The offences are said to have taken place between November 1 last year and March 20 this year. Skelton, who wore a black overcoat, pink shirt and matching pink tie, will next appear in court on March 5 for a case management hearing.
He will enter pleas to the allegations then. His unconditional bail was extended.
