FOLK band Beggar’s Bridge will be at Bradford’s Topic Folk Club in Glyde House, Glydegate, on Thursday, January 15.
The Hull band writes and performs its own songs, many of which are based on true tales of people, places and events from East Yorkshire’s rural, urban and maritime heritage.
Familiar faces at folk festivals and venues across the North, Beggar’s Bridge slots stories of the songs in between, with a good helping of earthy humour.
Critics have described the band as “a musical treat with proper self-penned folk songs, strong in story and tradition.”
