A BANNER highlighting the dangers of blocked pavements to blind and partially-sighted people has gone on display in a Bradford school.
Guide Dogs, in conjunction with West Yorkshire Police, presented their banner to Frizinghall Primary School, Salisbury Road.
Creative pupils from schools in Wakefield and Outwood designed the banners, which are now being distributed to schools across West and North Yorkshire.
Pauline Chilvers, Frizinghall Primary School head teacher, said “We are delighted to help Guide Dogs educate the adults of tomorrow in the dangers posed by parking on pavements and other street obstacles, for not only blind and partially-sighted people, but also wheelchair users, parents with prams and school children.”
