FUNDING from Keighley Community First enabled a pair of community groups to team up and stage events for older people.
The Association of Ukrainians and The Italian Welfare Association first presented an event called European food exchange.
This featured preparation of Ukrainian delicacies such as Varenicky and Kapusta, which guests were able to sample.
The Italian group showed those present how to make a recipe called Pasta and Wine and also brought along a lasagne.
On a later date, the same groups again joined forces to share food from their different cultures during a health and well being day.
The second gathering included visits and demonstrations from a massage therapist and a yoga tutor.
A spokesman for the organisers said: "Group members were enthused about being able to get together with friends from other cultures and to share their traditions."
