Residents on an estate can get fruity thanks to several new grants.
The cash allows fruit and vegetables to be added to the popular fry-up offered daily at the Keith Thompson Centre's community cafe, in the Braithwaite area of Keighley.
Braithwaite People's Association will open a greengrocer's in the building and deliver fresh fruit to pensioners' homes.
The expansion of the centre's cafe, set up four years ago, involves the employment of three new staff through the winter and spring.
The project is being made possible chiefly through a grant of £29,548 from Bradford Community Housing Trust's charitable foundation.
The expansion is also being supported with £5,500 from two funds administered by Bradford Council's Keighley Area Committee.
The cash will pay for baking equipment, new wiring, waste disposal facilities and a new door for deliveries.
