A painting of sheep in a snow storm has raised £400 to help children in hospital.
Artist Christina Harris gave the painting to the Shaw Gallery, Skipton, to be auctioned off for Airedale Hospital's Children's Unit Appeal.
A couple who are fans of her work bought the painting for £400, which has been handed over to appeal co-ordinator Mike Yates.
The fund currently stands at more than £150,000 and it is hoped that the target of £600,000 will be reached by the end of the year.
Mr Yates said: "We are very grateful to both Christina and the Shaw Gallery for helping our appeal."
