A FUNDRAISING Yorkshire Day Dinner Dance with drinks reception will take place at the Dubrovnik Hotel on Friday, August 1 from 7pm.
Money raised from the event will go to the Bradford Crocus Cancer Appeal.
Professor Laurence Patterson (pictured), director of the Institute of Cancer Therapeutics and Drug Discovery Programme, will be the event's guest speaker.
A Yorkshire raffle will be held with tickets priced £20, of which £4 will go directly to the Bradford Crocus Cancer Appeal.
The Bradford Crocus Cancer Appeal was started in May 2013 and is a joint venture between The University of Bradford, Yorkshire Cancer Research and the Bradford Telegraph & Argus.
The appeal aims to raise £1 million to help accelerate the rate at which new cancer medicines can be discovered and taken to the next generation through the purchase of a new mass spectrometer.
