Steve started with the Business Enterprise Fund more than ten years ago and has steered it towards successive growth in that time, such that is has more than doubled its turnover in the last three years. As BEF is a social enterprise he has helped the organisation support and finance more than 1,300 businesses and create nearly 1,000 jobs.

He has grown a very successful business and championed enterprise at a personal level. As former chair of Asian Trade Link (ATL) and now as president of Yorkshire Asian Business Association (YABA), Amjad was also part of Bradford Regeneration Company and now sits on the Local Enterprise Partnership.
JOANNA ROBINSON, MANSFIELD POLLARD
During the past year, as managing director of Mansfield Pollard, Joanna has steered the company into a period of cultural change. A positive “can do” attitude has been reinforced throughout the company, with employees and what they can achieve both individually and as part of a team being the driver for growth.
