Meg has been a part of the Business Enterprise Fund, helping the organisation grow and develop its reach, for seven years. Along with Steve Waud she has developed the fund to grow more than 30 per cent year-on-year as it became one of the most influential, respected community development financial institutions in the country.

Ltd is an Ilkley-based, six-strong communications team headed by mum-of-two, former journalist, founder and managing director Suzanne Johns. She has seen her business garner 17 Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) accolades for campaigns, including Best Use of Media Relations and Best Not-for Profit campaign.
LIAH PLOWMAN
Liah started at Micron Hydraulics as a receptionist and slowly worked her way up to managing director. In 2010 the company went through a major internal restructure in which all senior staff left. Liah took on the role of MD without any previous management experience in a very male-dominated industry in a company that had never employed a female in a senior position before Liah.
