Support from a store has boosted Otley Lions’ funds by £577.

The money was raised by staff and customers of The Original Factory Shop in Crossgate, Otley.

The outlet, which chose the Lions as its charity of the year for 2013 to 2014, organised tombolas and stalls, sold re-usable bags, entered runners for a sponsored road race, sold tickets for the group’s Easter Egg Raffle and provided collection tins.

Manager Peter Darroch said: “We are proud to support Otley Lions.”

A Lions spokesman said they were very grateful.
