The group that co-ordinates the work of churches in Ilkley and Ben Rhydding is changing the timing of when it celebrates the unity of the churches.
Traditionally, across Britain this takes place in January but bad weather and dark evenings mean fewer people can attend.
This year, the special events are taking place in June and are held at a variety of times during the day to appeal to a wide range of worshippers.
The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity will start at St John’s Church, Bolling Road, Ben Rhydding, on Sunday at 6pm.
On Monday there will be an event at The Sanctuary Prayer Centre in Church Street, from 9am to 10am.
On Wednesday, the service will be at the Baptist Church, Kings Road, at 7.30pm.
And on Friday, there will be a Shoppers’ Service at Christchurch at 10.30am.
