Women and children are being offered a free health check-up without the need to wait for a GP appointment.
The charity Womenzone is offering the free checks at its community centre in Bradford for one day next week.
On the day, women and children will be able to get their blood pressure checked or their body-mass index calculated, while experts will be on-hand to answer queries.
The day is part of the charity’s ‘Healthier Women, Healthier Communities’ project, which aims to encourage women in Bradford to get involved in health-boosting and social activities.
The session will be held at the Womenzone centre, in Hubert Street, Bradford, on June 11 from 10am to 2pm.
