Ilkley biker dies in motorway crash
An Ilkley motorcyclist has died in a motorway crash in Gloucestershire.
The 57-year-old was riding a yellow BMW motorbike when it was involved in a crash with a blue Ford Mondeo on the M5, near Gloucester and Cheltenham.
It happened on the southbound stretch, between junctions 10 and 11, on Sunday at about 6.50pm. The man’s next-of-kin and the coroner have been informed of his death.
The driver of the Mondeo, a Gloucestershire woman, was uninjured in the crash.
