A horse was killed last night in a fire at a farm which engulfed ten stables.
Fire crews from Morley, Batley and Cleckheaton were called to Island Farm on Warrens Lane, Drighlington, at 11pm last night.
There were thought to be eight horses at the stables and seven survived.
Fire crews spent three hours fighting the flames.
Although the cause of the fire is still being investigated, it is thought that it spread to the stables from a neighbouring caravan.
