Community pubs operator Amber Taverns, which owns a Keighley bar, has been sold in a deal worth about £90 million.
The Preston-based business, which operates 95 pubs in the North of England and Wales, including Last Orders (Vanilla Lounge) in North Street, Keighley, was sold by Legal & General Capital to funds managed by founding shareholder MxP Partners and associates.
Amber specialises in revitalising failing freehold pubs.
Amber Taverns’ chairman Clive Preston said: “The board of Amber Taverns is delighted to have a new partner to continue the buy and build strategy of the group.”
