Paint specialists Bagnalls of Shipley has been honoured with a prestigious Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents award for being one of Britain’s safest places to work.
The Gold Medal, only given to companies who have achieved five consecutive gold awards for occupational health and safety was presented earlier this month as part of a scheme designed to raise national work welfare standards.
The managing director at the Shipley headquarters of the national firm, Stephen Bagnall, said: “Safety is a core value of the company and winning a Gold RoSPA award for five consecutive years is proof of our commitment to raising occupational health and safety standards in our business.
“We are particularly proud to have achieved Gold medal status this year.”
