Thieves who target vehicles in Bradford city centre car parks this summer will be the focus of a crackdown by West Yorkshire Police.
Leaflets featuring crime prevention tips will be given to motorists, and officers will work with former offenders to help drivers reduce the risk of their vehicle being broken into.
Inspector Andy Gallant said: “Despite the use of CCTV and other security measures, offences are still being committed in car parks across the city.
“Vehicle owners can help to reduce the risk of their car being targeted by removing valuables from display and making sure their vehicle is locked and secure when leaving it unattended.”
