Mark Overfield has been appointed director in Grant Thornton’s growing Yorkshire audit team.

He began his career with Deloitte in Newcastle in 1996, moving to Leeds in 2009, most recently working as an audit director and also leading Deloitte’s manufacturing practice across Yorkshire and the North East.

With 18 years’ experience, Mark has led audit and related services for a range of Yorkshire businesses, with a particular focus on the manufacturing, consumer business, energy and waste sectors.

His experience has also included reporting accountant and diligence roles as well as the provision of accounting and other technical advice to businesses.
