A burst water main is still causing misery for motorists in Bradford, with surface water keeping the A647 Leeds Road at Thornbury partially closed this afternoon.
One lane is closed in both directions between the Gain Lane junction and the B6154 Galloway Lane junction, and drivers are being warned to approach the scene with care.
The water supply to three properties in the area has also been affected.
A spokesman for Yorkshire Water said: “We would like to apologise to anyone who has been affected by the burst on Leeds Road at Thornbury.
“At the moment the outside lanes on both sides of the carriageway between Gain Lane and Thornbury Barracks roundabout are closed to allow our engineers to carry out the work safety.
“The burst has affected three properties that have received bottled water.
“Providing everything goes according to plan the burst will be fixed by this evening.”
