Now the Horrible Histories brand has moved to the stage and brought its Barmy Britain cast to Bolling Hall Museum to preview a forthcoming run at the Alhambra Theatre.
The show will feature King Henry VIII, using gruesome details about his reign to captivate the audience, such as his decision to play tennis while his second wife, Anne Boleyn, was being beheaded.
However, the show takes a trawl through history between the Roman era and World War One. And while the subject matter may be historical, the production is 21st Century, using 3D effects to add impact.
The show runs from Tuesday June 17 to Saturday June 21.
