A woman was given a close shave, raising more than £1,000 for a cancer charity.
Francesca Drake had her head shaved at the Great Northern pub in Thornton on Sunday and collected £1,000.52.
Miss Drake, 33, has also gathered almost £600 from a online fundraising appeal.
All the cash will go to Cancer Research UK.
The head shave was the main event of a family fun day held at the pub, which continued indoors due to the wet weather.
Miss Drake, of Alpine Rise, Thornton, said: “It’s still a bit of a shock that I’ve had my head shaved.
“I was really chuffed with how much has been raised but getting my head shaved was a one-off.”
