The election for the managing committee of a Sikh temple board has taken place.
A committee of 21 members and the three main officers for Guru Gobind Singh Gurdwara, in Leeds Road, was elected by a secret ballot over the weekend.
Ranbir Singh Rai was elected president, replacing Kaldeep Singh Dulay.
Sadhu Singh Chhokar is the new general secretary, taking over from Govinder Singh Dhaliwal, who was appointed as assistant general secretary. The new treasurer is Prem Singh.
