A cyclist was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a crash with an 18-tonne livestock wagon.
The accident, which also involved another cyclist, happened near to the Sun Inn on the B6451 at Norwood near Otley.
The two bikes were being ridden by two Leeds men, both aged in their 20s and the animal carrier was driven by a man in his 40s from the Silsden area.
Both the cyclists and the lorry were travelling towards the Sun Inn when the collision occurred at around 1.40pm yesterday, approximately one mile from the pub, on the Otley side.
One of the riders sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary where he remains in a stable condition.
The second cyclist suffered minor injuries and was discharged from hospital after treatment.
Police are asking for anyone who stopped at the scene to contact them if they have not already done so.
They also want to hear from anyone who was travelling along the stretch of the B6451 from Otley to the Sun Inn, who saw either the green livestock carrier or the cyclists before the accident and anyone who saw it.

The road was closed for investigations and reopened at around 7pm.
