Fire crews from Fairweather Green and Shipley were called to a blaze at a derelict pub in Allerton tonight. A pile of rubbish was set alight inside the Old Kings Head Inn, Hill Top Lane at around 7.45pm. Crew Commander Ryan Tetlaw, of Fairweather Green Fire Station, said: “The police were at the scene and were speaking to some youths, who had apparently gone in and set fire to some rubbish inside the building. The fire took about 20 minutes to put out.”
