Creative Queensbury School pupils are waiting to hear who has won a competition after playing the name game for a housing estate.
The Deanstones Lane pupils got their thinking caps on to name Bellway’s 124-home development on Queensbury’s Brighouse Road.
All 1,037 pupils from the age of 11 were given the opportunity to put their suggestions forward, and the entries have been whittled down to a shortlist of five.
The pupil whose suggestion is used will be asked to cut the opening ribbon at the site this summer.
