A number of commercial vehicle drivers being stopped as part of a police operation were found to be drunk and in possession of cannabis.
Officers from Bradford South Neighbourhood Policing Team teamed up with HMRC officers and Roads Policing Officers for the operation on Wednesday.
They were checking that vehicles used for commercial purposes had insurance, were using legal fuel and that the vehicles were road worthy. Over the operation 22 vehicles were checked.
Drivers were dealt with for various offences, including one who was arrested for drink driving, one who was found in possession of cannabis and a number who were dealt with for traffic offences such as not wearing a seatbelt.
