Bradford Bulls’ wheelchair rugby visited a Shipley school to let pupils know having a disability does not prevent you from playing sports.
The team visited High Crags Primary School on Pratt Lane and spent over an hour talking to children about how disabled people can still stay active and get involved in sports.
Pupils took to wheelchairs to get a first hand taste of what it was like to play the exciting and increasingly popular sport.
The team is the only club in Bradford to offer wheelchair sport, and is fully inclusive – catering for both sexes, wheelchair and non-wheelchair users and people of all ages.
Staff said that the pupils really enjoyed the after-school event.
