Pupils at Oakworth Primary School have been digging in to help the community.
The year six youngsters carried out a range of tasks, including gardening at Holden Park and in the grounds of Christ Church, as part of a Community Week.
Other activities included planting around the school and helping out at Oakworth playgroup.
“After all the stresses of Sats this is an opportunity for the children to unwind a little and to give something back to the community,” said year six teaching assistant Liz Hearn.
