A 32-year-old Shipley man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after police had to cordon off a a block of flats in the town last night.
Emergency services were called to Crag Road in Windhill at about tea time following reports of a disturbance and a neighbour reported seeing a man flashing a blade in the area immediately in front of a block of flats.
An ambulance arrived a short time later. Two men received minor injuries, one had a cut to his elbow, the other had cuts to his fingers.
The man who was arrested remained in police custody today.
