Legal matters have delayed the start of the Barry Selby murder trial.
A jury has been sworn in and the prosecution was expected to open its case yesterday at Bradford Crown Court.
But the jury was sent away at lunch-time after the trial judge, Mr Justice Globe, told them legal matters were ongoing.
Four men: Lee Calvert, 23, of Stirling Crescent, Holme Wood; Joseph Lowther, 21, of Copgrove Road, Holme Wood; Robert Woodhead, 28, of Fred’s Place, Tyersal; and Andrew Feather, 23, of no fixed address, have all pleaded not guilty to Mr Selby’s murder.
They also deny charges of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life and possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
Natasha Wall, 24, of Stirling Crescent, has pleaded not guilty to perverting the course of justice.
Mr Selby (pictured above), 50, of Rayleigh Street, East Bowling, died after an incident at his home on Monday, October 14, last year.
