Police are probing air gun attacks in Bradford whch have left three people injured.
The separate incidents happened in the Killinghall Road area and officers believe they are connected.
A 20-year-old man required hospital treatment to have a pellet removed from his hand after he was shot between 2pm and 2.30pm on Monday.
A short time earlier a 14-year-old girl was struck on the back of her thigh by a pellet, although she did not require hospital treatment.
A similar incident occurred last Thursday when a 13-year-old girl was hit on the arm as she walked along Killinghall Road at about 7.15pm.
Police have increased patrols in the area to offer reassurance to the public following these incidents, and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Sergeant Jon Best, of the Bradford East Area Neighbourhood Team, said: "We are concerned about these incidents and are keen to find out who is responsible for them."
