An amphetamine abuser who was found with drugs at her house has been given a community order.
Jane Roper, 43, of Thornfield Avenue, Odsal, Bradford, was told by Judge Peter Benson at Bradford Crown Court yesterday that the best thing for society as a whole was to encourage her to stop her drug abuse.
He ordered her to be supervised by probation for nine months, with a six-month drug rehabilitation requirement, and pay £200 costs.
Prosecutor Simon Haring said officers searched Roper’s address in August, and found four cannabis plants and 56 grammes of amphetamines valued at £560.
Roper pleaded guilty to possessing amphetamines, producing cannabis, and possessing CS canisters.
