Specialist fire investigators were today still trying to establish the cause of a blaze at a former crisp factory in Bradford.
Firefighters were called to the derelict former Seabrook factory in Allerton Road at about 9.45pm yesterday.
The roof and third floor of the three-storey property were ablaze.
About 30 firefighters tackled the fire and managed to prevent it spreading to nearby businesses. The fire was put out by 11.45pm and a structural engineer visited the site at 4.30am today.
Firefighters left the scene shortly after 5am, but returned to it later as a precaution.
Jonathan Bye, chief executive of Seabrook, said the company’s priority was making sure the building was safe and secure.
