The University of Bradford turned purple to celebrate Crocus Week, with staff fundraising to push the Telegraph & Argus Bradford Crocus Cancer Appeal towards its £1 million target.
Staff across all university departments got involved by wearing something purple for the day, with all donations going towards the appeal.
Development officer at the university Victoria Collins said: “The Wear it Purple Day was a great success.
“As well as wearing purple, many colleagues and businesses got involved on social media, sharing pictures of their outfits and what they were doing for Crocus Week.”
Staff at the university have also taken part in a coast-to-coast bike ride and an abseil down the side of the Jury’s Inn hotel in Bradford city centre.
