The man who was due to start work as the new chief executive of Bradford College in September has announced he will be withdrawing from the position.
Anthony Bravo, principal of Basingstoke College and with 30 years’ experience in academies and colleges, was named as the next CEO of the Bradford College Group last month.
But he has now told the college that he would not be taking on the role due to “domestic circumstances” and that a new CEO will need to be found.
A Bradford College spokesman said: “Having reflected on his domestic circumstances, Anthony Bravo has decided to withdraw his application for the post of group chief executive.
“We would like to take this opportunity to wish Anthony every success for the future.”
