Police investigating a shoplifting incident at a Cancer Research charity shop have released an image of a woman they want to trace.
Investigators believe a woman entered the shop, in High Street, Skipton, on April 3 at around 3.30pm and took some Epson ink cartridges before leaving without paying for the goods. They are now trying to trace a woman described as being white, five ft 4 to 6 in tall, of large build, with short mousey blonde hair. At the time she was wearing a long blue coat and was carrying a canvas shopping bag and black handbag.
PC Gill Bell, of Skipton Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you are the woman caught on CCTV and you are not responsible for this theft, get in touch so that I can eliminate you from our enquiries. I am also keen to speak to anyone who recognises the suspect.”
